lady in the moon

The longest day of the year and the zenith of solar power across the Earth.  This is a time of the wild and fertile Green Man - the flourishing Oak God and the manifestation of growth and maturity.  It is a time of perfection, the mystical marriage of God and Goddess.  And yet it is also a time of sadness, because it markes the point at which the days will start to shorten again.  When the sun is at its brightest, it casts the deepest shadows.

May the magic of Litha be always with you.

LIOC Open Summer Solstice Ritual: The Medicine Wheel
Sunday, June 24th

Long Island Open Circle is pleased to offer our open Summer Solstice ritual based on the Native American tradition of the Medicine Wheel. All are welcome and invited!

There is at a $5 fee to help cover the cost of the meeting space. Please bring a dish for the potluck feast to follow the ritual.

Long Island Open Circle is not a coven. We are a democratic group whose goal is to provide a vehicle for diverse individuals, traditions, and paths to meet and work together for the general benefit of the larger Pagan community. Our e-mail group provides an opportunity for ritual/workshop planning and for general discussion on topics of interest to the group.
